The School of Architecture, Design & Planning mourns the passing of Wojciech Lesnikowski, Don Hatch Distinguished Professor of Architecture, who died April 17th after a courageous battle against cancer.

“Wojciech joined our Architecture program in 1988. He served the architecture program, the school, and KU with passion and distinction. He was a respected and admired member of our faculty and a teacher beloved by his students,” said Dean John Gaunt.

“We mourn the loss of a ‘larger than life’ architect and educator, and honor all that he contributed to us during the 26 years he served here. The life he lived was truly remarkable,” Gaunt concluded.

Details regarding a memorial service will be forthcoming.
