One of the most important ways a student can be successful in finding a job after graduation is to complete a planning-related internship. We facilitate students’ ability to pursue internships through the scheduling of our courses. Professor Kirk McClure at mcclure@ku.edu serves as our internship coordinator, and helps match students with available positions, most of which are paid.

Among the recent internship placements our students have had are:

BNIM (Architecture and Planning firm)

City of Lawrence, Kansas

City of Lees Summit, Missouri

City of Olathe, Kansas

City of Overland Park, Kansas

Mid-America Regional Council (MARC)

University of Kansas Center for Sustainability

Architecture, Design & Urban Planning Events
